About us

Cindy Jarrett and Elaine Reynolds, both successful teachers and published authors, have a passion for writing children’s stories and a strong desire to share the creative writing process with students of all ages.

Elaine co-authored 25 instructional activity unit books with Kathy Frazier for coaches in the Future Problem Solving Program International and two books, Power Up Your Creative Mind (Pieces of Learning) and Cre-EGG-tivity Plus (Nathan Levy Associates), with Kathy Frazier.  She taught for 32 years and holds a BS Degree in Elementary Education and a Master’s Degree in Gifted Education from Kent State University. Her strengths are the creative process and the development of innovative lessons.


Cindy taught high school business classes for 30 years and was named to Who’s Who Among America’s Teachers in 1992.  She holds a BS in Comprehensive Business Education from Kent State University and a Master’s Degree in The Art of Teaching from Marygrove College.  After checking thousands and thousands of typing papers over 30 years, her strengths lie in the proofreading and editing processes.  She has strong English and grammar skills as well.  Her experience with younger students includes her eight grandchildren.
